The All India Bank Officers’ Association (AIBOA) has voiced strong opposition to the government’s reported plans for further mergers of Public Sector Banks (PSBs). The association argues that such mergers could lead to a decline in the number of branches, ATMs, and employees, potentially affecting customer service and job security in the banking  sector.
