Canara Bank RO Faridabad Directs Branches to Open on Sunday for NPA Recovery, Raising Concerns

The Regional Office of Canara Bank in Faridabad has issued instructions requiring multiple branches to open on Sunday, August 31, 2025. According to the notice, the purpose of this opening is to carry out Special Mention Accounts (SMA), Special Watch List (SWL), and Non-Performing Asset (NPA) recovery activities.


Branches Covered Under the Directive
The circular lists more than 10 branches across Faridabad and nearby regions. These include Bata, Hardware Chowk, Nit-1, Sanjay Colony, Sector 16, Airforce Road, Sikri, Piyala, and others.
