The National Federation of Retired Regional Rural Bank Staff (NFRRRBS), the retirees' wing of the All India Regional Rural Bank Employees Association (AIRRBEA), has formally confirmed its decision to join the United Forum of Bank Retirees’ Organisations (UFBRO). This move follows a unanimous resolution passed during its Central Committee meeting held on June 28–29, 2025, in Kolkata. The decision was conveyed in a letter dated July 3, 2025, to UFBRO Convenor and All India Bank Retirees’ Federation (AIBRF) General Secretary Sri S. C. Jain.

Strengthening the Retiree Movement
By deciding to join the UFBRO, the NFRRRBS aims to strengthen the collective efforts for fair treatment of retired bank employees and family pensioners. The move aligns NFRRRBS with a broader national platform advocating for retiree welfare and policy improvements.

Formal Communication and Request to UFBRO
Following the internal resolution, NFRRRBS formally requested its inclusion as a constituent of UFBRO. The letter addressed to the UFBRO Convenor sought access to the organisation’s constitution, if already circulated, and requested copies of various correspondences and circulars to remain updated on developments related to the bank retirees’ movement.

The NFRRRBS has officially communicated its decision to join the UFBRO after unanimous approval in its Central Committee meeting. The formal request includes seeking relevant documents and updates to align with the ongoing movement concerning retired bank employees and family pensioners.
