Kannada Controversy at SBI Bengaluru: Woman Banker in Trouble

A controversy erupted after a video of woman banker at SBI’s Suryanagar branch in Bengaluru has gone viral. It is seen that the banker refusing to speak Kannada to a native customer on his demand. The controversy ended up in Chief Minister's response and SBI's action on her. She is forced to apologise in Kannada after facing backlash. Many say that the real issue is at management and transfer policy side, not at the fault of individual bankers.
