'Merger of RRBs with Public Sector Banks, Proposal by AIBOC and AIBEA is Wrong'

"How can those who oppose the merger of Public Sector Banks (PSBs) advocate for the merger of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) with sponsor banks? This merger will lead to privatization and affect 40 crore rural people," says Anto Gaulbert, President of the Tamil Nadu Grama Bank Officers' Association. His response is directed at the letter from The All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) and All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) to the Finance Minister advocating for the merger of RRBs with PSBs. Please watch this interview to hear the counterarguments.
