‘The Bankers Jodo Yatra: A Historic Initiative’

The United Forum of We Bankers has launched a remarkable and historic movement called the “Bankers Jodo Yatra”, meaning “Unite the Bankers March.” According to the organisation, this collective journey marks an important step towards unity, dignity, and fair treatment of banking employees across India.

The yatra (journey) will officially begin on 3rd November 2025, from Jaipur, the historic capital of Rajasthan. It is not an ordinary march, it is a symbolic mission of solidarity and self respect for all bank employees. The campaign’s Brand Ambassador, Mr. Mayank Sharma, along with his team, will lead the opening ceremony and set the tone for this important initiative.

Purpose and Objectives
The main goal of this campaign is to reach out to banking employees across Rajasthan in its first phase. The team will visit various bank branches in different districts to understand the real challenges faced by employees at the ground level.

These include issues such as:
* Administrative pressure
* Workload and mental stress
* Lack of fair support systems

The organisers plan to collect detailed data on these difficulties and present it to the management for effective solutions. The campaign represents the collective voice of bank employees, seeking dignity, mental peace, and fair working conditions.

A Call for Unity
The movement urges all members of the banking community to join this shared cause. It emphasises that the struggle belongs to everyone and unity is the only way forward.

Support can come in many forms:

Financial Support and Collaboration
The organisers called supporters who wish to contribute financially to the campaign can do so through a Punjab National Bank account under the We Bankers Staff Association, Rajasthan.

Future Vision
Once the Rajasthan phase is successfully completed, the next step of the “Bankers Jodo Yatra” will move to Uttar Pradesh, where the movement will connect with more bank employees and extend its impact.

The Forum believes that this initiative will strengthen the unity of bankers across India, protecting their self respect and creating a more balanced and humane work environment.
