Abductions, Assaults, Violence: Are Bankers in RRB Safe Anymore?

In recent days, many bankers in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have faced violent attacks - at duty time. From the abduction and overnight assault of UP Gramin Bank staff in Basti, to field officers being attacked in Sitapur, and Tamil Nadu Grama Bank employees assaulted or locked inside branches, the safety of rural bankers is under serious threat.
