The All India Bank of Baroda Officers’ Union (AIBOBOU) has written to the Managing Director and CEO on 27 November 2025, alleging executive lobbying, selective rule enforcement and administrative indiscipline within the Bank of Baroda (BoB). The union claims the issues relate to the conduct of several regional heads and HR executives, and has sought immediate intervention through an independent inquiry.

According to the letter, the union alleged that some executives received tenure protection, exemption from transfer norms and immunity from disciplinary action, while junior officers faced strict scrutiny and punitive transfers. Instances cited include alleged unauthorised transfers by Regional Managers in Chandigarh and Ludhiana, a POSH complaint being converted into a non-POSH inquiry, and a viral video purportedly showing misconduct by the Burdwan RM.

The union also referred to the closure of Manjhanpur Branch, administrative lapses in Prayagraj-II Region, and alleged manipulation of posting records linked to a senior HR executive. The letter additionally mentions concerns about selective vigilance and promotions despite alleged irregularities.

The union requested a time-bound vigilance-cum-administrative inquiry, uniform enforcement of transfer norms and protection against dilution of statutory processes. It stated that the issues represent a broader pattern requiring transparent corrective action.
