On 16th September 2025, bankers of Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) observed its 91st Foundation Day at the Head Office premises, Jog Hall, Lokmangal, Pune. The occasion was marked by a Blood Donation Camp organised through Mahabank Kala va Krida Mandal — a cultural and welfare club formed by Bank of Maharashtra Officers’ Organisation (BOMOO), Bank of Maharashtra Karmachari Sangh (BOMKS), Bank of Maharashtra Employees’ Credit Co-operative Society (BOMKCCS), and Bank of Maharashtra Retired Employees’ Welfare Organisation (BOMREWO). This initiative has been conducted continuously for 41 years as a tribute to the founders of the bank.

41 Years of Humanitarian Legacy and Participation
A special highlight of the event was Suryakant Sonsale, who achieved the remarkable milestone of donating blood for the 114th time, inspiring all attendees with his dedication and selflessness. The blood donation camp has been a continuous part of BoM’s Foundation Day celebrations for the last 41 years. This year, 126 donors, including officers, employees, retirees, and their family members, participated in the noble initiative.
