Bank of Maharashtra employees are set for a nationwide strike on March 20, 2025, protesting staff shortages, outsourcing, and unfulfilled recruitment promises. With over 1,100 branches without sub-staff and 318 branches without clerks, employees warn of worsening working conditions and risks to customer service. The strike, led by All India Bank of Maharashtra Employees Federation (AIBOMEF) and banking unions, demands immediate recruitment, implementation of court rulings, and fair treatment of employees.
