BOIOA Pune’s 44th AGM Highlights Staff Concerns and Zonal Unity

The Bank of India Officers’ Association (BOIOA), Pune Unit, hosted its 44th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, 8th June 2025, at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, MIT College, Pune. The AGM brought together hundreds of officers from the Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Nashik, and Ratnagiri zones for a full-day program of cultural opening, leadership addresses, and member interactions.

Cultural Start Sets the Tone
The open session commenced with a soulful Ganesh Vandana performance by Prajkta Dhabhokar, offering a graceful and traditional start to the proceedings.

Felicitations Symbolize Unity and Honour
Geeta Parsewar and Snehal Sonawane warmly welcomed the dignitaries, honouring them with traditional bouquets, gift hampers, and the iconic Puneri Pagadi—a gesture symbolizing pride and Maharashtra’s rich culture.

Leadership Highlights Key Issues 
The gathering saw an impressive attendance of around 1300+ gathering from various corners of Maharashtra, reflecting the strength and unity of the Association. Key concerns such as staff shortages, rapid transfers, old pension scheme, cross-selling/ third party products, timely sanction of increment and reimbursement, and 5 days banking were raised during the session. The event was graced by the presence of the Federation of Bank of India Officers' Association (FBOIOA) including:

AGM Ends with Unity
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Amol Sangle, President of BOIOA Pune Unit, acknowledging the efforts of every volunteer, leader, and participant who contributed to the successful AGM. The program ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving a sense of shared purpose and unity among the attendees.
