‘Helping Generate Employment and Boost Enterprise Growth’ PNB Organises MSME Outreach Programmes

Punjab National Bank (PNB) Aligarh Circle organised Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Outreach and Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM YUVA) Programs in two key locations — Mathura and Aligarh. Both events provided a platform for entrepreneurs, local businesses, and bank officials to interact and explore financial solutions tailored for the MSME sector, while also focusing on direct engagement with long-standing customers, young business aspirants, and local industrialists to discuss credit access, digital tools, and growth opportunities.

MSME Outreach and CM Yuva Programme – Mathura
The MSME Outreach and CM YUVA Programme was held in Mathura on 25th July 2025, organised by PNB, Aligarh Circle.

Participants and Guests:
The event was attended by Sh. Ramendra Kumar – General Manager, DIC, as Chief Guest. Other key participants included Sh. R.P. Singhal – Chairman, Indian Industries Association, Mathura, and Sh. Ankit Bansal – Chairman, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Mathura, along with several prominent industrialists of Mathura district.

From Punjab National Bank, the officials present were:

Through this programme, PNB reiterated its focus on a customer-centric approach, transparency in banking processes, and providing a range of financial solutions in the current competitive environment.

‘PNB Outreach Empowering MSMEs Nationwide’
Speaking to Kanal, Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Deputy Circle Head, Circle Office Aligarh, said the PNB MSME Outreach Programme is playing a vital role in strengthening small businesses across the country. “The initiative is improving access to collateral-free loans under schemes like CGTMSE, Mudra, and PMEGP, enhancing financial literacy, and offering sector-specific products like PNB Green Ride and MSME Sahyog,” he noted.

He added that the programme is also pushing digital adoption, improving compliance, and encouraging formalisation through Udyam registration. 

“It’s helping generate employment and boost enterprise growth, especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities,” he said, while acknowledging challenges like awareness gaps and occasional processing delays.
