The issues of Public Sector Bank(PSB) employees came up in parliament. Dr. V. Sivadasan, member of Rajya Sabha raised the concerns of staff shortages, excessive workloads, frequent transfers, and contractualisation. He said that the working condition is worsening with increasing pressure to promote government schemes and meet unrealistic targets. The work-life balance is severely affected.
