The Rajasthan Gramin Bank Pensioners’ Association has submitted a written representation to the Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The association claims that the current management of Rajasthan Gramin Bank (RGB) is allegedly ignoring earlier directives and carrying out actions that appear irregular. The letter seeks government intervention to ensure transparency and corrective action.

Concerns Regarding Delay in Establishing Head Office
As per the letter, despite a government notification issued seven months ago, the process of establishing the bank’s primary head office in Jaipur has not begun. The association states that instead of completing this setup, temporary appointments are being made, and the purpose of shifting the administrative headquarters remains unclear.

Issues Related to the Pre-Merger Rights of Officers and Pensioners
The association states that before the merger, officers and pensioners of the former Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank (BRKGB) were receiving specific financial benefits. According to the letter, these benefits are allegedly being withdrawn or recovered after the merger.

Recovery of Previously Granted Financial Benefits
The letter mentions that BRKGB had provided financial benefits and facilities that are now being collected back. A specific case highlighted involves a recovery amount of ₹22,53,983 (Twenty-two lakh fifty-three thousand nine hundred eighty-three rupees) from a former officer, which the association claims is unauthorized.

Dearness Allowance and Other Pay Components
According to the association, officers who previously received their basic salary along with dearness allowance and transport allowance are no longer being paid these components after the conference proceedings.

IFSC Code Modification Issue
The letter states that the IFSC code of the former bank (RMGB) continues to be used even after the administrative change, which the association considers irregular and seeks correction.

The Rajasthan Gramin Bank Pensioners’ Association has requested that the Ministry of Finance review the matters mentioned in the letter and take necessary action. The association urges the government to examine the administrative process to ensure compliance with prescribed guidelines.
