The letters allege repeated instances of life-threatening and humiliating remarks made by the official in official WhatsApp groups including messages such as “You simply get out of this world” and “You are an idiot.” AOGBO called the remarks a “clear-cut crime of criminal intimidation under Section 351 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita,” while UGBOA condemned the manager's pattern of abuse over the past two years. Both unions warned that the official’s continued presence threatens industrial harmony and employee morale.
A union leader told Kanal, “The Sambalpur Regional Manager is a repeat offender known for highly inappropriate conduct. Such undignified behaviour must be addressed urgently—suspension is necessary to restore a healthy and respectful working environment.
