Remembering the Legacy
Speakers across states stressed that Mukherjee’s efforts ensured that RRB employees today enjoy benefits once denied to them. His organisational skills, ability to engage management with strong arguments, and vision for employee unity were remembered as guiding principles for present and future struggles.

Renewed Commitments
Alongside tributes, state units discussed upcoming programmes:
The Rajasthan unit resolved to send 45 members from Sikar to the September 17, 2025, dharna at Rajasthan Gramin Bank Head Office, Jodhpur, with preparatory meetings in Kota, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Ajmer.

Other units highlighted the need to defend pension rights and resist any erosion of service benefits, underlining that Mukherjee’s agenda remains unfinished.

Slogans of Unity
The events concluded with calls of “Hamari Ekta – Zindabad” and “Hamara Sangharsh – Zindabad”, signalling that AIRRBEA state units continue to uphold D.K. Mukherjee’s legacy of struggle, solidarity and justice for rural bank employees.
