Conciliation Meeting Held Between AIPNBOF and Management Over October Strike Issues

A conciliation meeting between the All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Federation and Punjab National Bank management was held at the CLC Delhi office over unresolved strike issues, with the next meeting scheduled for 8 December 2025.

A conciliation meeting between the All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Federation (AIPNBOF) and the management of Punjab National Bank was held on Monday at the office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (CLC) in Delhi. The meeting was held to discuss the unresolved issues that led to the officers’ strike on 9 and 10 October, including demands for a five-day banking week, better medical aid, and other pending matters. The representative from the Government of India was not present at the meeting.

As a result, the next round of conciliation talks has been scheduled for 8 December 2025.

Meanwhile, the bank management has reportedly filed a complaint against AIPNBOF for going on the strike, which could lead to disciplinary or legal action, including possible imprisonment of up to six months.

In the coming days, the federation’s leaders are expected to visit various bank branches across Delhi.
