In a recent directive issued by the Madhyanchal Gramin Bank, branch managers overseeing branches with NPAs exceeding ₹20 lakh have been instructed to organize night camps twice a week for NPA recovery. The order by Chhatarpur Regional Office comes in the backdrop of a resolution passed during the bank’s Board meeting on January 17, 2025, aiming to expedite recovery efforts and improve the financial health of the bank.

Night Camp Order

The letter dated January 18, 2024 stated that, “Where the branch-level NPA amount exceeds ₹20 lakh, night camps must be organized weekly to facilitate recovery. The camp will receive necessary support from the regional and head offices to ensure its success.”
